Privacy,
in plain sight.
Last updated: October 16, 2026
CipherQuest is a cryptography puzzle game provided by TuckR89 LLC. This policy covers the current offline app and this standalone CipherQuest website.
Free app puzzles and local progress work offline. Live advertising, cloud accounts, cloud synchronization, and purchases are disabled in the reviewed release configuration.
Information stored on your device
CipherQuest stores completed puzzle identifiers and daily challenge completion dates on your device. We use this information to preserve progress and show game history. The current offline version does not send that progress to a CipherQuest cloud service and does not require an account.
The current app configuration does not enable a separate analytics or crash-reporting service. Google Play, your operating system, and device services may handle information under their own privacy policies and settings.
Advertising services
The separate advertising preparation build includes Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform components; these are not enabled in the reviewed offline main release configuration. Live ads are currently disabled. These third-party components can process technical information when their services operate, so the absence of visible ads should not be treated as a promise that every device or third-party service is offline.
Google's advertising documentation describes information such as IP address, which can indicate approximate location, device or account identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Such information can be used for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. The information handled depends on the services, settings, and software version in use.
Before enabling live advertising, we will update this policy to reflect the advertising services and controls actually offered. Where advertising privacy choices are available, you will be able to review or change them through the app's Privacy choices control. A privacy-service failure does not prevent free offline puzzle play.
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising information for Google's practices and controls.
Support and privacy requests
If you email support@tuckr89.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, resolve the issue, and maintain appropriate support and security records. Our email service provider processes messages to provide that service. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details.
We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your request and meet legal, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. You may request deletion of information you have sent us; we will explain any applicable retention exception.
Removing local information
Local progress remains in app storage until you remove it using your device's app-data controls. On Android, clearing CipherQuest's app storage removes that local progress and cannot be undone through the current offline app. Device backup and restore behavior depends on your operating system and settings; removing app data does not necessarily remove an operating-system backup. Review your device's backup controls separately.
The current offline version does not create a CipherQuest cloud account or cloud progress record. If accounts or cloud services are introduced, this policy will be updated to explain their data practices and deletion options before those services are enabled.
Age and regional privacy choices
CipherQuest is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We intend to make it available worldwide where distribution is permitted. Privacy and consent requirements for teenagers vary by location; an intended audience of 13+ is not permission for personalized advertising to every teenager.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@tuckr89.com so we can review the concern and take appropriate action.
Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify the request. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Sharing, service providers, and security
The current offline app does not upload your local puzzle progress for advertising or sell that progress. Support messages are handled by our email provider. Third-party platform or Google services handle information as described above and under their own policies. We may disclose information we hold when required by law or to protect users, security, and legal rights.
Local information is subject to your device's security controls. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Ordinary local puzzle progress is not represented as an encrypted vault.
This website and policy changes
When you open this page, the website host may process routine technical information such as IP address, requested page, and access or security logs. This page does not load analytics, advertising, or remote tracking scripts. The browser workbench runs on your device. It does not submit the message or keyword to our server or save puzzle progress. This standalone website does not set cookies or use browser storage. Pages on the corporate website are covered by the corporate website privacy policy.
We will update this policy when CipherQuest's data practices change. The date above identifies the current revision. This policy does not itself turn on advertising, accounts, or purchases.
